Hey, I walk through the city and to ridiculously far places from the city all the time alone. It’s a lovely walk, especially to Newtown via Redfern and the CarriageWorks, but at the same time it makes me sad that you know, I’m walking alone. *sigh*

Okay, holy shit. Plane crash happened around 8:15am today.

The night before, I was just talking with my sister about what time we were going to get to the train station in the morning, and about 8:00am was one of the possibilites. We decided on quarter past instead, and for some reason, I decided to go to Cabramatta station instead of Canley station. Had we stuck to normal routine and left at about 8:00am, we probably would’ve been within a hundred metres of the crash and this would be a very different blog post.

Might not be mind blowing to everyone else, but it is for me. D:

2/ Favourite Movie.

Hmm, movies… Generally speaking, I’d prefer watching TV shows over movies, predominantly because you always see the same characters, and you grow accustomed to them and etc etc blah blah. Also, I do find most movies that come out now to be typical, predictable drivel.

But anyway, it’ll have to be one of two choices (or four, if you’re being pedantic :P ):

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Yeah, I know, it’s British, and it’s rather old, but it’s one of the greatest comedy movies ever. It can get over the top, and really stupid at times, but that’s what makes it such a great movie, the ability to make you laugh all the time, without trying too hard.

Star Wars Trilogy IV-VI

Truth be told, I’ve only seen the whole thing once, when channel Ten decided to screen all the movies, but thats really all that was needed for this series to become a favourite. Plus, for a series of movies made around 70s/80s, it looked pretty good. Sure, the new trilogy is all shiny and stuff, but godamn, Hayden Christensen is so terribad, it just ruins everything. Yes, he’s that bad. He should retire from acting.

1/ Favourite Song.

Ray Charles - Yesterday

Sure, the original version of Yesterday by The Beatles is already a great song in its own right, but coupled with the voice of Ray Charles? It’ll be hard to beat.

It took me a while to decide upon this song, since generally, I honestly never have favourite songs, rather just a favourite artist/album within a given time period. The last phase I was going through was Portishead’s Dummy, but since then, I haven’t been listening to music as much as I used to, mainly due to uni starting and all.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
